You can cancel your account at anytime and your cancellation will take effect on the day your next renewal payment would have been due...so you would have access till then.
As far as your domain name is concerned, you can login to your client area and toggle the option to not have that auto renew and then you would forfeit registration of that domain name and no longer own it.
